Framecon 2019

June 5, 2019 - 3 minutes read

It seems that trade shows for every industry are becoming fewer and fewer.  That’s true in the picture framing industry. I used to go to at least 2 trade shows a year twenty-five years ago.  Now I’m going to my first show in the last five years! Meeting owners of other shops as well other framers is one of the highlights of going to these events.  But the fun part comes in taking classes while I’m there. I am going to be polishing up on my lacing techniques for needle arts, trying my hands at making glass mats, getting the low down on strip lining of canvases and updating my knowledge for my computer mat cutter.  Throw in a little business class on profitability so I can be around to serve you for years to come and a mini vendor showcase to add the latest frames and products for you, and I will call it a perfect weekend. And I can take the boyfriend and Biscuit along for the ride.
